Limiting beliefs about yourself or your practice should not be the deciding factor in taking your training. Hali’s advice hits the nail on the head because these beliefs are so common. In fact, we ran a survey a little while back and learned that lack of self-confidence is one of the main factors that hold people back from doing their teacher training. It’s important to understand that EVERYONE feels this way at some point and your insecurities are often unfounded. Yoga teacher trainers know this and will often lead exercises or incorporate lectures within your training to prove to you how capable you are, no matter your background. You got this!
